Gisteravond maakte het duo The Civil Wars via hun Facebook-pagina bekend met onmiddellijke ingang de tour te stoppen vanwege interne meningsverschillen.
Afgelopen februari won het duo The Civil Wars nog twee Grammy's voor hun sterke debuut-album Barton Hollow. Zij lieten gisteren weten hun tour in Engeland met onmiddellijke ingang te stoppen, maar hopelijk komt in 2013 wel hun nieuwe plaat uit. Het bericht van The Civil Wars op hun Facebook-pagina:
We sincerely apologize for the canceling of all of our tour dates. It is something we deeply regret. However, due to internal discord and irreconcilable differences of ambition we are unable to continue as a touring entity at this time. We thank each and every one of you for your amazing love & support. Our sincere hope is to have new music for you in 2013.
